Oltre 1.000 i visitatori che hanno partecipato all’edizione 2016 degli ARCHMARATHON Awards. La
kermesse si è svolta dal 13 al 15 maggio 2016, trasformando ancora una volta il capoluogo lombardo
nella Capitale Mondiale dell'Architettura.
Si è conclusa domenica 15 maggio la terza edizione di ARCHMARATHON: tre giorni
intensi ricchi di scambi di idee, know-how e relazioni in un contesto culturale di altissimo livello.
Tra i 42 progetti presentati, la giuria internazionale - presieduta da Luca Molinari e composta da
personaggi di rilievo del mondo dell’architettura e della critica come Lucy Bullivant, William
Menking, Wassim Naghi, Li Brian Zhang e Elie Haddad - ha deciso di assegnare il prestigioso
ARCHMARATHON Award allo studio Vector Architects di Pechino per il progetto “Seashore
Library”.
Inoltre è stato premiato il migliore progetto di ognuna delle dieci categorie: Arts & Culture,
Education Buildings, Religious Buildings, Workspaces, Hotel & Leisure, Private Housing, Mixed
Tenure Housing & Buildings, Retrofitting & Refurbishment, Urban Design & Public Spaces e
Transport.
Anche per questa edizione, il pubblico degli internauti ha attribuito - attraverso il sito dell'evento -
l’ARCHMARATHON Crowd Award: il più votato del 2016 è stato lo Studio Díaz y Díaz Arquitectos
per il progetto “Maternity and Oncologic Parking”.
La prossima edizione “Worldwide” di ARCHMARATHON si terrà in Italia nel 2018.
