The architects von Gerkan, Marg and Partners (gmp), are an
architectural practice that was founded in Hamburg and has branches worldwide.
With our generalist approach and experience of over fifty years, we complete
projects in dialog with our clients and the participating stakeholders, at any
scale and within any cultural context, covering all design phases and working
on all continents. The range of our projects extends from the family residence
to the high-rise building, from the stadium to the concert hall, from the
office building to the bridge, and from door furniture through to town
planning.
With holistic sustainability in mind, we aim to create
architecture, both new and refurbished, that is long-lasting and goes beyond
temporary fashions, taking into account the global challenges and issues of
urbanization, digitalization, and mobility. In our designs we are committed to
climate-aware construction to certified standards.
