SANTA MARIA DELLA MISERICORDIA HOSPITAL

The project is an essential part of the rearrangement and refurbishment of the hospital district of Santa Maria della Misericordia, owned by Azienda Sanitaria Integrata di Udine.
In order to promote the district as regional reference, the design will provide more integration between healthcare, research and educational functions.
The Azienda Sanitaria assigned the works as a consolidated contract to the Temporary Association of Companies (ATI) led by GLF S.p.A. and to the Temporary Consortium of Professionals (RTP) led by Studio Amati S.r.l. The project consist of: new access to the E.R. and roads modifications; repositioning of the San Gottardo canal (Ledra river) and new layout of the external areas; realization of the new buildings in part the III and IV next to the existing volumes.
The new building is horizontally organized in 7 levels.
