The philosophy of this housing project is inspired by the principles of sustainable, eco-friendly bio- architecture. Finding a natural composition resulted in an irregular elevation with an abstract game of alternative empty and full volume structures. This also allowed clear view to the lake for maximum rooms. The car parking and viability roads are hidden inside the mountain to avoid traffic, noise and pollution for the well being of inhabitants and visitors. This result shows the capacity of adapting to the existing geometric contours and proves that it ends in a better result. An existing hospital for children is converted into a luxury hotel. Suites, restaurants, SPA and swimming pools with a beautiful view to lake maggiore. The new village on the mountain is connected to the lake and the Marina harbour by panoramic cable railways.
