“Diogene” is a minimalist self-contained living unit installed since 2013 in the “Weil am Rhein Campus” in Germany. Despite its small size (2.5 m x 2.5 m x 3.20 m), the structure contains everything is needed. Amenities and utilities are limited: photovoltaic cells, solar modules, a rainwater tank, a composting toilet, natural ventilation and double-glazed windows.
