In the heart of Roman and medieval Milan, a building by Piero Portaluppi, one of the undisputed protagonists of 20th Milanese architecture, is subject of a conservative restoration project.
Aiming at improving the office spaces, and adapting the building to contemporary standards of energy efficiency, Park Associati’s restructuring deals with all aspects of the structure.
The renovated internal layout contributes to the optimization of the flows and provides comfortable and smart workplaces. The restoration of the exterior respects and enhancing the original architectural language, both in terms of shapes and materials. The courtyard is redesigned, as well as the internal volume that overlooks it, regenerating this area as an integral part of the architectural complex.
