The second permit was issued to build the new locker rooms and stands and for the second artificial turf 7-on-7 soccer pitch. While the work continues on the new artificial turf 11-on-11 soccer pitch, demolition of the old concrete stands was completed and digging finished for the new building’s foundation: The second phase has begun! The architecture of the new building was inspired by the city’s personality, which is bound to its harbour and industry. In a single structure the building under construction contains the stands, locker rooms and auxiliary services needed to run the entire sports complex. Building choices made in relation to local climate to maximize energy efficiency and reduce
maintenance through long-lasting and recyclable details and materials.
The heart of the new “Ferdeghini” begins to beat!
