The United States Vertical Farm took shape at Expo Milano 2015 where it was presented to promote the country’s engagement towards a shift in the American culinary diet and cuisine: a human and environment friendly approach to the choice of organic, local, and healthy food.
The pavilion was characterized by a 90 mt long green façade on which were produced season's crops thanks to the use of hydroponic cultivation.
GLA collaborated with Biber Architects (NYC) to make the visit to the pavilion a unique experience.
