Italian architect and designer Italo Rota (1953) began his career with Gregotti Associati and the editorial staff of Lotus international magazine in the seventies. After graduating from Politecnico di Milano he moved to Paris where he collaborates with Gae Aulenti on the interiors of the Musée d'Orsay and the Centre Pompidou. He returned to Italy in the mid-nineties and opened a studio in Milan working on projects ranging from masterplans to product design.
