Fabio Capanni (Florence 1965) graduated in architecture in 1993 at the University of Florence and obtained his doctorate degree of research in “Architectural Design and Town Planning”. Since 2002 he has been Professor in “Architectural Composition” in the Architecture Department at the University of Florence. He is a member of the Scientific Committee of the “Identity of Italian Architecture” congress that takes place annually in Florence. He participated in numerous national and international competitions and attended conventions and shows. He has been awarded with prizes for some of his works which have been published in important and international magazines. Among the accomplished works are: “La Fonte” gymnasium at Sesto Fiorentino (Florence); Piazza (The Square) in Pian di Mugnone at Fiesole (Florence); Completion and restoration of the San Salvatore Monastery at Camaldoli (Florence); Archeological section of the Saint Augustine museum at Montalcino (Siena); Chapel of the Lazarist (Jerusalem); Extension of the Primary-secondary school at San Piero a Sieve (Florence).
