SIA AOYAMA BUILDING

The ‘Sia Aoyama Building’ is developed, compared to a standard office space, by embedding the forming factor of simply making the ceiling height 5m. as a result, high windows not only fill the room with an even flow of natural light to the end, but also control the total illumination surface. this leads to the creation of small scattered windows on the exterior walls. There are 7 types of windows, each quadrate with sides of 1150mmm, 1450mm, 1600mm, 1750mm, 1900mm, 2050mm, and 2200mm. They are placed in an orderly, but at the same time disorderly fashion, like a freehand drawing which tries to keep it as accurate as possible. Earthquake-resistant reinforced concrete is applied, reducing the thickness of the walls by half, thus creating the right proportions within the tall space
