HERMAN TEIRLINCK BUILDING -

The Herman Teirlinck building is located on the site of Tour & Taxis, one of the final large-scale development locations in the heart of Brussels. The meandering shape of the building creates a building volume which integrates naturally within the existing urban blocks.
A sustainable low-rise building of only six layers, with large horizontal floor areas on a human scale establish an attractive working environment. A modest vertical accent of 60 meters gives the project a recognizable element in the Brussels' skyline.
The building is accessed by a covered internal street that runs through the entire building. All public functions are located on this street. On the upper levels the office floors are situated around two glazed inner gardens. The Herman Teirlinck building is the largest passive office building in Belgium.
