CBS - COPENHAGEN BUSINESS SCHOOL

The new study universe at the CBS Campus – formerly home of the Royal Copenhagen Porcelain Manufactory in Frederiksberg – comprises a conversion of the old row material storage building, in which the ground floor has been elaborated to a sculptural landscape with cafè, social space and open study facilities.

The main concept of the building is the division between zones for communication and zones for concentration.
Sculptural sitting stairs start the ascent through the tall panopticon, up past the various departments.
The former storage building constitutes a flexible and modern learning environment contaong defined spaces, niches and open group spaces with built-in communications technology. A house that is easily perceived and embraced as well as affording enriching spatial shifts and views of the light and the adjacent park, Frederiksberg Have.
