CAMPUS POINT DEL POLITECNICO DI MILANO -

Campus Point is currently a provisional project and has admirably resolved the problems associated with the design of a building that must simultaneously tackle functional and technological, esthetic and logistic, economic and qualitative aspects of design while paying careful attention to the structure's inclusion in an existing characteristic urban landscape.
The brief was to create an operative centre for research attached to the Politecnico di Milano, Lecco section. This was an interim solution while attending the restructuring of the new university campus which will provide the definitive location for the project.
The project’s design is inspired by the metaphor of flexibility and dynamism: it can be positioned in one place or in every place. It is a form of architecture that can be disassembled but which carries with it the precious functional and qualitative features that were resolved at the very outset.
