TBILISI

The pedestrian “Bridge of Peace” in Tblisi is a light suspended metal structure 160 m long and 4.80 m wide, featuring a reticular steel and glass canopy top whose curvy shape is similar to a leaf. Meeting point between architecture and engineering, the roof is made of just one light membrane firmly anchored to four fork-shaped supports on the two banks of the river.
