GSMM ARCHITETTI
Giorgio Santagostino and Monica Margarido started working together in 2000 and two years later established their own architectural studio in Milan. Their attention leans to architectonical design from small to the medium scale.
The first case regards interior design, seeking appropriate solutions through systematic and coordinated methodology and development of technical details and customised furniture, in the second case the interest goes to public competitions, a practise that is used to develop projects of collective relevance.
The research of architectonical quality despite the limited budget, regarding the users, planning flexibility and reversibility and the interest to the sustainable environment are a few of the themes that their work is focused on.
They have acquired during their professional experience skills such as integrated design as a result of realisation of several public buildings of medium complexity.
